The ambitious Speedstar is the new road helmet from Suomy that, after 20 years of experience in racing, is now offering an exciting new concept of versatile sports helmet.

Frequent wind tunnel sessions and tested as a racing helmet, resulted in the development and creation of dynamic shapes, offering a powerful aerodynamic coefficient and an enviable overall balancing effect.

The R&D, Design and Riding Test department created a package of solutions that enhance comfort, versatility with breathable technical fabrics, D-Ring chin strap and balanced fitting suitable for any type of riding. The new injection visor in Optical Class 1 and variable thickness, with Pinlock Max Vision, ensures the best visibility from several driving angles; the inedited Wide-Sunvisor extends to the cheek pads borders offering a full protection from the sunlight.

Extensive testing resulted in the maximum efficiency in heat dissipation inside the helmet.

The outer shell is made of TRICARBOCO fibre, a mixture of Kevlar, carbon and fiberglass.. Loads, linked up with aramid resins that ensure a lighter, harder  more safety and impact resistant shell.

The cheek pads and internal shell are removable, washable and replacements can be purchased to keep your helmet like new. They are made with prestigious sweat-absorbing materials.

 Visor

• Internal visor that can be operated from the outside and functions as sunglasses
• Visor geometries are carefully studied and designed through advanced optical software. The visor has a variable thickness in order to obtain the optical class 1, the best performance achievable for lens
• The visor is three-dimensional, optically accurate, printed in optic PC, treated with scratch-proof and UV blocking material
• Visor is treated with the most performing anti-scratch processes which effectively protect the surface
• The new mechanism under the visor is carefully designed in every detail in order to have a solid assembly with the visor and an easy removal system without the use of any tool
• Vertical and peripheral visibility fields are primary aspects while riding in road and track. The wide opening of the visual field allows a safer and more performing ride
