ECH29 Pressurized fork Cartridge

The Bitubo ECH29 pressurised fork cartridge offers the rider high stability and feel, perfect control under hard braking, increased grip entering and exiting bends and a more uniform tyre wear thanks to immediate hydraulic control of applied forces and innovative features  such as FPS, EC and LC. These systems are the result of an extensive research and development by Bitubo’s R&D Department in collaboration with teams in the WSBK, BSB and Italian Superbike championships.

TECHNICAL FEATURES:

• Ø27mm billet 7075 Ergal hydraulic piston with FPS® system (Patent Pending)
• Ø10mm Pumping rods with anti-friction coating
• Mechanical end-stroke with polyurethane bump stop
• CrSi steel springs that are heat stabilised and shot peened to ensure consistent performance over lifetime of the Edit Product.
• Hydraulic spring preload integrated into fork cap
• Independent compression and rebound damping adjustment
• Coaxial compensation chamber (Patent Pending)
• Billet 7075 Ergal cartridge body with low friction surface coating
• Separated Hydraulic/sliding lubrication

Rebound, compression and spring preload (hydraulic) adjustments all on fork cap. Rebound damping in one fork, compression damping in the other.

• Spring preload (range 12 mm in 6 turns)
• Compression adjustment (24 clicks)
• Rebound adjustment (24 clicks)

EC Easy Changer: this is a quick change system for fast replacement of the spring with a free key and a new exclusive cartridge dismantling system. EC does not require the fork to be removed making bike set up and modification much easier.

LC Light Components: this Edit Product is manufactured with a high percentage of special light alloys, significantly decreasing the weight.

FPS®, Full Pressure System is an innovative damping system created to control immediate fork oscillation therefore avoiding cavitation problems. This system is low pressure gas pressurized stop problems from emulsification of the fork oil and therefore provide consistent performance. The cartridges are asymmetric: where one controls the compression, the other one controls the rebound. Two alternate chambers at each end provide a very high damping coefficient even at very low speed.

All Bitubo ECH29 fork cartridges are supplied with FUCHS SILKOLENE synthetic oil ensuring smooth sliding, lubrication, perfect consistency and performance.
